So, after successfully making it to the gym one day last week, I decided to give it another shot; so, I went tonight for about 1.5 hours. First, I did a brisk walk on the treadmill, catching up on my daily dose of Cramer – which I have been lapsing from recently. (Thank you iPhone.)
I had an idea while I was there. What if gyms across the country retrofitted all of their exercise equipment with technology that could harness the energy created by gym members and use all that energy to power the gym, or at least supplement the power from electricity suppliers? It would be interesting to find out just how much energy is created through the use of spinning bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines, etc. If you know of any studies, e-mail me.
After the gym, I came home and took the second test for my BUS104 class. I really wish my BUS104 tests were instantly graded like my BUS110 tests are. There’s nothing more annoying than waiting for your test to be graded. Maybe it’s my generation where we need instant gratification – anyway, I digress.
By the time I finished with the test, it was about time for bed, which of course meant staying up for another hour or so working on yet another project for a friend of mine in Arizona. He’s working on a film and in need of a web site for his film production company. So, I temporarily set up http://huckabone.ryantcollier.com to get him started.
Over the next few weeks, I hope to add some more content a little bit at a time. But, my time is quite fragmented right now. My business plan is due April 13, so I’m going to be focusing heavily on that over the next 3 weeks. Once I have that done, my next assignment is finishing up my BUS110 shadowing project. Basically, I can’t wait until May 22, when my classes are over and I can start to breath again!!
I need a nice, relaxing weekend!! Is there such a thing?!
